I Steven Borg (Owner/Managing Director) of Adair Funeral Services have now decided to sell the Good Will of my business. This is an honest business that has been built up since 2008 trading as Adair Funeral Services since 2014 with no expensive overheads but does require some investment in equipment before re-commencing operation, mainly referring to the purchase of a modern or new hearse.
I am offering for sale the trading name (Adair Funeral Services) along with my other business trading name (Adair Chauffeur Services) the domains for both, the logos and the transfer of the phone and fax numbers. Both names and logos are trademark protected and the sale will include the transfer of all four trademarks.
This trading name has been very successful when considering that advertising has been minimal and there are no transfer contracts in place, proving that the ratio of funerals and types of funerals to advertising and other factors is excellent and there are no prepaid funeral contracts in place.
The main reason for sale is due to being put out of operation in late 2021 due to the Victorian Government Covid vaccine mandates which caused me to incur a severe financial loss in the same time of needing to update the hearse.
I will consider offering a trial period for any interested parties to enable them to better understand the value of this trading name.
This will be ideal for an existing funeral company that already has a suitable hearse that is sufficient to the types of funerals and families that choose Adair Funeral Services.
The asking price is negotiable but in the region of $7,000,000.00. Interested parties will only understand the true value of this trading name whilst actually operating it. Currently I am only considering selling the Good Will of my business because I’m not willing to invest $250,000.00 – $280,000.00 in a new hearse and there are no second hand hearses available that suit this business.
